I joined a few weeks ago but I'm just getting around to posting. I'm in the very beginning stages of starting my business (portrait photography); I'm finally getting around to it now that my second--and last--baby is a few months old. I've been into photography for about 12 years, but I feel pretty clueless when it comes to business matters, so I'll be scanning this forum religiously over the coming weeks! I'm so not a business person, so feel free to knock sense into me as needed and remind me that I am, in fact, trying to make money at this.

Hello April. And yes, this is an awesome resource for your new business. I'm still reading the older posts from years ago just because there's so much good information that can be found here.
