If you get a call from Joe, Bill or whoever at "Top Rank Listing" it's a bit of a con game. You should stay away. They basically call everyone listed on google, offer them a "one time limited opportunity for ONE PHOTOGRAPHER and one only" to get to the top of the rankings blahblahblah.

This guy just left us 3 messages within 15 minutes. At the end of one of them he thought he hung up and didn't. The message says to someone in the background "that right there - that's how you pull a hustle."

My thinking? I don't want to pay someone like that - for any reason. Just a heads up.

I get calls like this all the time - some of them legit and others I'm sure are not. It makes you wonder whether or not these people realize what a sleazy salesperson they must sound like (the vast majority have had that used car salesperson sound).

Do people really fall for this not realizing all the things they could do on their own to boost their rankings?

I got one of those from someone claiming to be from Yahoo. If I signed on they would make all my dreams come true...I told them my dreams and they hung up...J/K What a scam. I wonder what our unemployment rate would be if we purged all the scam internet/cold call jobs??

Don't you love those - especially the magazines and websites saying we want YOU followed by lots of butt kissing, blah, blah, blah. Do they really think we are that stupid?

Thats a great heads up ... Ive gotten a call similar to this wonder if it is from the same peopel...
