What compact camera do you believe is the best? I am looking for a camera that I can just keep on my pocket when I do not have my SLR with me that has great picture quality, minimal red eye, high iso with good results, and any other good features. Let me know... Thanks

Canon G7. we have a g6 and love it, and the g7 is even better.

it isn't ultra compact though, for that I would look at something like the Canon sd800, Image stabilization, huge lCD decent quality. No where near the features of a G series, but its smaller.

I bought the Canon SD900 and have been thrilled with it's performance and size (the titanium casing is pretty cool, too).

I'm using the Canon PowerShot SD800 IS . . . I used to have the G6 but, in my opinion it had a slower shutter lag AND I was looking for something "ultra compact". The SD800 seems to have a shorter lag, it's extremely compact, and the image quality is very good! The image stabilization and face recognition technology ROCK on this thing, too!!!

Fuji F30. ISO 800 looks awesome, and ISO 1600 is pretty darned good! No noticeable shutter lag either.
