Recently I have had a couple GORGEOUS girls show up for bridals with less than lovely bouquets...or no bouquet at all... and some gals just don't look natural NOT holding one... So we decided to take matters into our own hands and had some bouquets made to keep with us at the office for those "uh-oh" situations.
jackie of dana's floral design did the flowers for my wedding and my sister's wedding. They are faux flowers.... they're NOT silk... They look and feel unbelievably real. So we decided to have a few made that would work for more than one season.
Basically I said "I want a white one, a red one, a fall one, and a summery/springy one" (the green one was from my sister's wedding). I really like what she did for us.

EDITED TO ADD MY HOMEMADE ONE. I took my wreaths from 3.5 yrs ago and used them to make this one.

Great idea! Looks very nice.

It does make me wonder though: would you actually consider suggesting that a bride swap out her bouquet for one of these in those "uh oh" situations? Or just in the event that she doesn't show up with one in hand?

WOW! They're gorgeous, and what an awesome idea! Did you pay for them or did they gift them to you in return for referrals?
Do you know what the faux flowers are actually made out of? I've never seen these in person but they look amazing!

Oh when I say ugly, I don't mean not my taste, I mean those "OH I FORGOT TO ORDER ONE SO WE STOPPED BY WINN DIXIE" kind.
Yes, the 12 red rose buds and babies breath all bunched together with some grave ribbon.... or the fake white bouquet from wally world .... REALLY BAD.
I plan to mention it to brides when they book their bridal sessions that I have bouquets they can use.... sell it as a money saving alternative for them.

STOP TAUNTING ME WITH THOSE THINGS!
They really are gorgeous. I think you should post a photo of the one you made too though
I so need to get a couple of those.

Oh I totally had to pay for them. $90 each but Alisa and I split the cost... so it was more bearable.
Plus we keep them in vases and laying around our office as decor....
Some are fabric coated in some waxy substance... roses FEEL LIKE ROSES. The callas are amazingly real... they are soft and flexible... almost like super soft latex. Some like the orchid and tulips are a more rigid material but still realistic

Those are lovely! I wish I would have had one of those yesterday. I did my first bridal-type session and I really struggled with what to do with her hands since there was no bouquet!
Great idea!

What a fabulous idea and something to have a leg up on your competition as you say. They are really beautiful looking bouquets.

Those are so fabulous. I am impressed with some of the nice "fakes" I've seen. You really can't tell those are fake! I would love to be at a point to do something like that. I've only done three pre-wedding bridal sessions that involved bouquets. (All the others have been post wedding, TTD style ones). The first two had small bouquets, but they were at least real flowers. The last one.. well.. If she's happy with it, that's fine.

But I love the idea of being able to say "We've got a selection of beautiful bouquets for you to choose from if you'd like to".
You are brilliant!
