This weekend we were in Denver, CO shooting a sweet wedding and we had some fun experimenting with some fun lighting.

For these shots, I had Katie pull up our car put behind the couple and put the brights on. We used an off camera flash to add a little fill light.



By putting the headlights just out of frame it brought a cool upward flare...



During the reception, we decided to leave the car in the parking lot and had a lot of fun with this image, with a single off camera flash placed behind the couple.

I really like em'. It's fun trying new things isn't it?

The car lights are great in shot one but where you placed there heads in the clean sky background and the leading diagnal of the garage bringing your eye to the light is why the shot is so killer. But you knew that all the great ones do.

Actually, it wasn't my car, it was my in-law's car.....hmmmm.. actually, sounds like a great idea! LOL!

You know we really have to push ourselves to the extremes and attempt the unusual in order to make the really great images!
