YAY! I have always been a PC girl (probably always will be to some extent), but hubby and I decided a few weeks ago to bite the bullet and begin a transition to macs. Our mac mini arrived yesterday and we're in love We've got a lot of household type things that we're transitioning first, and hoping to get a tower and/or a macbook early next year.

Any must-haves, tips, tricks, advice from others?

Well you might find the Mac Mini a little limiting in the area of photo editing but you may not. You will love your Mac, I can't wait to get another!

Mike - not much editing planned for the mac at the moment, unfortunately. The mini was the starting point (along with a 1TB external hard drive) to get the house/family stuff organized and moving toward macs. I've got a pretty sweet PC setup for my editing, so I'm sticking with that for the moment, and will probably upgrade sometime next year. Baby steps, baby steps!
