Hi OSP!

OK, I'm at it again (LOL) - how do you create a summary post with a link to an expanded post in Wordpress? I tried the post "split" feature but all it did was create a "continue reading" link and expanded within the same page.

The effect I'm trying to create appears to create a new page with just your entire post featured. Here's an example of what I'm trying to do (please click on "continue reading" and you'll see the new page - URL also changed too):

www.ishootshows.com

Thanks you all for your help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
MichaelG
Using the "more" feature should do exactly what's happening on that I Shoot Shows site--the first few lines are displayed on the main page and clicking the link opens the rest of the post on its own page.

It's possible that the author of the theme template you're using has customized the behavior of the "more" feature (see here for details). Try a different theme and see if it still acts that way.

Thanks Michael, I really appreciate it!
