Looking to purchase 3 new ex hard drives--what should I be looking for? What are best brands? Is there a link on OSP about this?

Id personally go with Seagate. Alot of the branded HD companies - (like my LACIE drive) use them.
They seem to be more reliable than WD drives.
Will you be working off these drives or will you be just using them for backup?
If you will be working off them Id want fast drives (32mb cache, 7200rpm+) with fast connections (eSATA / FW800)
