As many of photographers either sell or include a CD of images as part of the package. I've only included a CD a 2 or 3 times and while I never give away my copyright but I give the bride & groom a permission form that gives them the right to reproduce. In my form it states their name and a very strict permission for them only and if the form is a copy the permission is void as well.
It is the paper and a faint logo, don't forget to add color. Most digital copier machines won't reproduce the faint background if it does you can tell it is a copy of a copy (only a copier tech will know the difference

) ... I also work on copier machines... A call today of a mom wants me to fax over a permission form to a walgreens that her son has sent them a file and she wants to make copies. My only point to making the permision so strict is I was hoping to avoid the images going everywhere and people calling me to fax some walgreens a permission form.
But for those who hand out permission forms how strict or loose is your forms? My thought also being that a bride and groom would know what a print should look like based on the album prints and the prints that I do for them. To me it seems if it doesn't look right they won't just say oh well and others will see an awful job some cheap photo places can produce.
I would appreciate some feed back on how some who give permission deals with requests other than the bride and groom.
Thanks!!
