Is there a device out there that will allow you to remotely control the flash power for multiple brands of flash heads? For instance, I have some Elinchrom heads and some White Lightning heads. White Lightning has remotes for it's lights that allows you to do this and so does Elinchrom, but is there something out there that will allow you to do both?

My Paul C. Buff transmitter will set off the Elinchrom. Any suggestions?

controlling the actual strobe head power is a completely different thing than triggering them. white lightnings/alien bees have their own system, yes, but you cannot use it to control other strobes' power settings. that being said, very few strobes have external power controls.... you'd be better off getting a pack system that you control from the pack instead of having to raise/lower stands all day....

hmmm i seem to have an entire set of strobe packs/heads for sale.... wink.gif

So are there power packs out there to control different brands of heads by plugging into them? I don't need any more heads. I've got plenty. Thanks!

Okay, what you need to realize is that we're talking about two separate things here. The quick answer to your last question is "no." You can read more at studiolighting.net if you want to know the difference between power packs and strobes, which i think may be getting you confused.
