Here are some of the images from the family portrait session I did this weekend. A link to a slideshow follows the images.

CC always expected, welcomed, and appreciated. I don't do many of these, so I'd love some feedback.

I was going to say #7 was my favorite, then saw #8!!

Also love 11, 14 and 4.

Looks like a couple of cuties!

Great work!

One very tiny thing would be to rethink the crop on the one with mom... maybe if you went for an angle, as it is a great photo but I think (being a woman and a mom) she would hate to see her chin that way. May distract her from the true beauty of that shot. smile.gif

Thanks, Christine. I appreciate you taking the time to comment and give your opinion.

The fountain looks like the fountain in Chattanooga. Of course, there's probably thousands of fountains like it but just out of curiosity, where did you shoot this session?

That's in downtown Knoxville on the old World's Fair Site. They've really done a lot with it over the last few years. It's a great spot to go take a family for photos.

The stairs shots were shot on the back stairs of the old L&N Station that backs into the Fair Site.

im not sure with the first two... they seem pretty ordinary to me, color, expressions, composition, and looks very raw.

but as I went on with the photos, i'm like "there you go" because from the last photo I remember you shared (that girl with the clouds) i was expecting something as good. so yeah, you nailed it on the succeeding photos of this set - more particularly 6, 7, 8, 9 and the last one wink.gif

I love the ones on the stairs! You did a great job, you really seemed to capture their little personalities!

I agree with Oly about the first 2 looking pretty ordinary, I LOVE the rest, in particular 10 and 11, these are DARLING!!!! I really like 12 but, I agree with Christine that the mom might not like it just because of her chin.
amity
they all look so fun! I like the post processing on them.
