Here are a few pics from Kyle and Mary Beth's E-Session. They absolutely loved being in front of the camera. This was my first chance to shoot an e-session with my new 5D. I love it!! Sorry there are a lot of images. Please critique one or two if you have time. Thanks!!

I like the last image a lot. The flare images are fine, but don't be afraid to add a little contrast.

Also watch your backgrounds. The church steeple is growing out of her head in the first shot.

Jeff these are cute! I love it when a couple loves being in front of the camera! I agree with Shane...the steeple shots bothered me too...but the backlit shots are great! thanks for sharing!

You all don't like the unicorn look I was going for with the steeple?? j/k smile.gif Didn't see that at first, but now it bothers me too. I have several of that shot without the steeple shooting out of a head. Thanks for pointing that out.

Shane... On the flare shots, just boost the contrast?? Any others suggestions on those? This was my first attempt. I was always too scared to try those.

Thanks,

Jeff

Don't sweat it, man. You did a great job and the clients will love these. These are just picky photographer things we're pointing out.

If you are processing in lightroom, the fill light, contrast, and blacks sliders will all help you out on a flare shot. The idea is to get the blacks back into the pictures and still make it look natural. In Photoshop, you can do this with levels and curves.

These are great. You only notice those steeples afterwards. Ha!
I get that he is looking at her butt and it's a cute shot, but the one looks like his leg is broken.
