George Natis
Hi there all. I did not make it to post my may wedding here immediately but some may have noticed it on my blog.

Every wedding has its surprises. And so was one happening right in the morning after my arrival where I wanted to hop on my to do list shooting the brides preparation. The schedule went overboard as the bride´s hairdresser cancelled their appointment in the morning before they would have met up. I thought OMG, this is way too crazy.

So the bride had to go to another hairdresser spontaniously next to her home also leaving out her purchased extensions she wanted to put in. Geez.. what a nice beginning I thought.

And the craziness went on. We had planned 2 hours for their formals and the wedding party was in a walking mood so after I managed to get them together for a group foto, only 1/2 hour was left for the formals with the couple. That was a heavy rush also having the sun at 2 pm coming straight down additionally. Horrible. I always keep asking myself, why do couples plan the formals dang on in the best sunny hour though I advise them not do so in our pre-sessions. There is no explanation, its the way it is. Period.

So on to some selected shots from their day. Their slideshow is on my Blog

Only your 7th! Wow! Good job! 2 hours of formals, is that typical with b&g's?
Wayne Toshikazu
Yeah, great stuff, George! Definitely impressive work for being so relatively new at this. The images of the couple on the those big boulders are uber-killer.

Keep it up!

Well typical for me is 1hour. If they give me more, I try to plan more locations without having a heavy rush to get there.

George, I used to live in Miesau which is about 5 minutes from Ramstein.

My german is not very good anymore, I don't have anyone to speak German with. I really enjoyed living in Germany, it was one of the best times of my life.

Do you remember the Ramstein Air Base Disaster? I was there.

some great shots here, and the ring shot at the end is gorgeous.

keep it up, it can only get better!

Hey! Schön mal auf andere deutsche Fotografen hier zu treffen!
Superschöne Fotos! Meine Favoriten sind die mit oder auf dem Felsen! Und das nach dem Desaster mit dem Friseur - so manche Braut hätte da schon einen kl. Nervenzusammenbruch bekommen.

Viele Grüße aus dem Ruhrgebiet!
Amber Martin
These are great. Even though it ended up being rushed, at least the couple was affectionate, so that helped you to capture some really sweet pictures! Thanks for sharing!

@Sam. You were really there? OMG! Ist kein Problem. Wir können gerne ein bisschen Deutsch üben über PM smile.gif Du kannst es aber noch gut schreiben. Verstanden habe ich dich schon mal . > We can practice your german via PM smile.gif You still can write it very good. I did understand your meaning.

@Kathrin
Thank you. Yeh. That hairdresser desaster could have knocked off a sensitive bride easily. The couple are too cool (passionate surfers), so I knew this would not happen in that case smile.gif

Scott, 2h is a photographers dream. Its very very uncommon. But I always advise to plan around 1h at least. I want them to be relaxed and not in a hurry. Most couple enjoy those minutes when being alone before or after the ceremony. wink.gif

I must say...stunning with the afternoon sun. I love #5&6!!
