I am not sure if there are any programmers or really computer savvy people out there (I am assuming yes). If someone could give me a bit of advice that would be greatly appreciated.
Everytime I start Adobe Bridge it crashes right away. It just started doing this with no changes to my computer I shut it down last night and started it this morning and now bridge won't work.
Any help would be greatly appreciated as I can say my work flow is toast without it.
Thanks.

*sigh... Sometimes I just hate computers... I bought a brand spanking new mac and PS kept giving me error messages.. and the reason I had bought it was because my PC was just plain crazy. I guess we will never meet perfection in the physical form of a computer.

I hope you're able to figure out the problem Braeden.. Good luck.

Have you all checked to see if your updates are installed??
Open Bridge, PS or another suite program and click HELP ---> CHECK FOR UPDATES to run adobe updater. I'd almost bet that you don't have all updates installed.
Best of luck!

Funny I was thinking of posting the same thing. I updated yesterday, and Bridge has been crashing ever since.
If it is not one thing it is another! I am getting frustrated! Anyone else have insight on this?
I too am on a MacBook Pro with Leopard and CS3.

Thankfully I don't use Bridge...check the forums to see if there is a fix out there. Also, get Lightroom, the program is amazing!

Hey guys, try this:
On a Mac hold down OPTION and click the icon to open Bridge
This will bring up a Reset Dialogue box.
Check the "Reset Preferences" box and click OK
Hope that works!

Thank you! I finally came back to check on this thread, because Bridge is still crashing... Chris suggestion fixed my problems. THANK YOU!
Does this mean I don't want to update bridge when I get a update reminder?

When I try this, it just opens Bridge. No reset dialouge box. Hmmmm....

If you are on a MAC, always check your permissions first, that usually solves the problem.
PM me if you need instructions, sorry, falling asleep at my computer
