OK I never blog about the fam, since this is for the business, but my ten year old daughter was in her first horse show at Vally Mount Ranch a couple of weeks ago and my good friends at MM Photography snapped some great photos that I just HAD to share. Diego is her horse (well my horse, but we all know how that goes) anyway, he just turned four and has really bonded with Georgia. She had never taken him through the pole pattern and for his first time he did fabulous. They make a great team. They are both spoiled rotten.
Im so proud.

Awwe Jen, You should definitely be proud!! I had never even been near a horse until a couple of weeks ago, I went to a friends farm and took candid photo's of her and her horse!! Now, I love them. I still am afraid to ride one though! It's awesome that Georgia is riding and in shows!!

Thanks guys. Diego is kind of a smart aleck since he's so young, but he has a great mind and spirit and Georgia and him are pretty much kindred souls.

They do however make me nervous sometimes. I watch all of the barrel racing accidents on you tube and I get a knot in the pit of my stomach.

You know what they say when it comes to horses. Its not "if" you get hurt, its "when" and how bad.

I always hate it when she says "watch this mom, youll love it."

I just try to pace her (shes a daredevil and not afraid of anything)

I also ride him ALOT to get him where he needs to be so they can "grow" together without incident.

So far, so good.
Problem is, her eight year old sister is getting pretty good and next year they will want to compete against each other. I havent told my husband, but I beleieve that I will be a two horse mommy before its over.

Lord help me.

Oh and since I wont ever have any money, is there anyone out there that can take care of me when I retire. laughing.gif
