This is a portrait of a man and his son, circa 1860, maybe as late as 1865 or as early as 1850. A lady from our church had it handed down to her recently, and she is about 80. This is her Grandfather and his Father. It was in great condition, and all I did was repair the spot where the emulsion had come off, and restore the b/w where it had turned yellow.

I love vintage photos. I did a session on Wed morning and they brought some portraits of the grandmother, great grandmother, etc, and they were SO cool.

Ok, I'm officially shallow. That guy on the left is *cute!*

I had 2 sisters in here talking about a wedding when this was brought in. They both thought that guy was cute.

the hair...the lips...the chin...the noble brow.
