Kadie - AWESOME!!! Amazing! What else can I say?
Wow guys! Thank you! I had a lot of fun making them. The best way to do it I've found is
1) Use a tripod
2) Put your camera on a timer
3) Possibly use timed interval shooting so it keeps firing off frames so you can get a few variations (if you use the interval shooting you'll need to focus a head of time then switch your camera to Manuel so that it doesn't get confused trying to auto-focus if you have a more complicated composition.)
4) Have broom, coat rack, any sort of object to set in your photo where you want to stand so you can focus on it and then have it mark where you need to go.
5) Have a helper to either push the button after you get everything set up or move things for you once you get in place.
6) Have fun and be creative, self portrait doesn't always mean a photo of you face, you can take a series of photos of objects that you think represent you and that's a self portrait as well.
Thanks all, there are some awesome photos being posted, Sofie I LOVE you series!
