I signed up this morning for ShootQ. They currently offer a 30 day trial.

http://shootq.com/

In just a few minutes I was able to setup some basic stuff (contact info, logos, submit a support ticket to shootQ to integrate my contact form from my website, etc.)

Its ALOT of INFO and lots of video tutorials to pour into, and I know by the time I am familiar with some of the functionalities, my 30 day trial has already expired. However, I can see the huge benefits when integrating ShootQ with my own admin workflow.

I guess I will make my decision to retain shootq sometime before the trial expires. If you have any good experience with ShootQ, by all means please enlighten me.

It doesn't get much better than shootQ. I highly recommend that you retain your membership as long as you're a photographer. Version two will kick ass too, so keep that in mind! There's no upgrade fee to v2, it will just be an entire shootQ system upgrade from what I understand.

I completely agree.

I was an early doubter.... even critic. I didn't like the idea that it was web based.

But I decided to check it out. It only took a couple of day to make a believer out of me. Is a very useful and well thought out system. Helps book online, quickly communicate with clients, keep track of your job, analyze your marketing, avoid job conflict, automatically create contracts. And if they get and if they get Quickbooks integration in version 2, it will be an incredible solution.

Right now I am using AccountEdge as my accounting software and I may switch to Quickbooks just because it may integrate with ShootQ.

Since I been using ShootQ my online inquiries have increase greatly.

Make sure you check out their forum and if you have any question give me a PM. I'll be happy to share anything I learned.

Thanks David. That is a great testimony for ShootQ.

I have been looking at it for some time. I love the idea the client can book an appointment without my help and it verifies it is available.

I may go ahead and give it a try.

Totally worth it, Darrell. Give me a call or shoot me an email if you have any questions... I'm a happy ShootQ user and supporter. They're doing a wonderful job.
