So I waited in line the 2 hours last Friday, and ended up direct fulfilling for my iphone. I was told 7-10 days, but it would most likely be here sooner. I was banking on the sooner.

From the get go, AT&T has been really coy about inventory. Not really saying how many they had, or how many they will be getting. They wanted every one to DF so they would get the sale, then when the new phones come in they could sell those as well.

I was really hoping I would get my phone early this week, then I thought, mid-week. Now I don't really expect to see one at all this week.

Who else is waiting on one of these things?

Man...Im sorry for your troubles. Turns out the 3G is a lot harder to get a hold of than anyone expected. Hopefully the will get their act together so you can get your new phone

ATT stores are very limited in what they get. Apple store gets the most of course. Tho Monday when I went into the Apple store they had a sign saying they didn't have anymore that day and all weekend they seemed to never run out. Funny tho when we went in during the weekend they were saying that they only had the white ones left and when my hubby said he wanted black he was told to just stay in line. So, lo and behold when we got in he told them what the guy outside said and he came out with a couple of the black ones... don't know what that's all about, maybe the white ones weren't selling as well? Weird that they seemed to be holding some back. Whatever, I got my iPhone!

My phone finally came in. I really can't believe how awesome this thing really is. I knew it would be great but it has truly exceeded my expectations. The audio quality is the best compared to any other phone I'd ever use. I could go on and on. But you guys already know!

I had to order mine. MY ATT store is always out. When it comes in I have to go to the store to pick it up.

Crazy stuff. Apple sure made themselves look like dorks by getting in bed with AT&T. They have so many rules for people who just want to give the their money.

Anyways mine is backorded, so I'm sadly waiting for a 16gig white. I just bought my wife an ipod touch however. Used the same software, and the new app store is AMAZING. I can buy, install, and even update apps right from my phone. Can also but music of course right in the phone via WiFi .

Am I the only one here who had no trouble picking one up last Friday?
