I am having a heck of a time getting the templates to match what I print. I don't want to wast anymore of the paper, but if I am lining all up in PS to the templates, why do they print wonky? Any suggestions?
Karen
I had this same headache as well when I first started using them. I'm not sure why they don't match up?????? I have files from previous jobs that I just use instead of their's because it took me so long to get it right.

My advice - keep your design simple, simple, simple. Yeah, it won't look as cool - but your client wont' know what their missing and will still be thrilled (and you won't be staying up until 3am getting it done).

To get it right - I would print copies of the design on regular paper and then hold it up to the light with the real paper over it. You should be able to see it through the light and tell if it lines up or not and then adjust it as necessary and repeat.

Good luck - you have so brought back bad memories of staying up late frustrated with that. I feel for you.

Karen, thanks for the input. I am pulling hair out with this. The customer service person wrote back and said to just move around until it gets right, which I guess is fine...but if I have to do this on every one I will scream!!!!

Hi Lisa!

This might be a little too late...and maybe you've already tried this...but my wife almost had a mental breakdown over this one night too! smashpc.gif

Turns out...our printer wasn't set up for "borderless" printing! We got a new printer and everything lines up great! She also keeps the design simple...the photo on photo effect with the DVD looks awesome...but we still haven't figured out how to get that to line up!

Good luck!!!

Lisa,

I have this same problem!! So it is not just you... I still cannot figure out what is causing the problem. Sometimes it will print perfectly and other times it will be so off its not funny! If I figure out any solution I will let you know biggrin.gif
