As way of introduction, this is my first post here in OSP. I've been a lurker here for a bit, but thought I would post some shots from this weekend's wedding.

This is my second time 2nd shooting so there was still a lot to learn. Any C&C welcome, thanks for looking!

Beautiful images! The first two are my favorites--they show such emotion and I love the composition on #2.

Awesome work--can't wait to see more, welcome to OSP!

nice work, especially for your second go round :-) The only thing i would say is that in the first 2 images, whatever texture you are using looks a little heavy on her dress in #1--kind of makes it look like the sidewalk and her dress merge together a little bit, and in #2 it makes the skin on her back look dirty :-) I would just mask some off in photoshop--otherwise I really like the processing. Good job!

I think these are great, but I agree with the Kate on the textures. Maybe take it off of her skin in #2 (it looks a little distracting on her back) and off her dress in #1. I would just leave the texture on the environment. biggrin.gif

Great stuff though, me like!

Hi Andrew! I love these - the first and second are my favorite and I think I like the second one the best - great angle, great color, etc. Welcome to OSP!

I just shot my 3rd wedding as second shooter (blog) as well smile.gif

Awesome job and cya around OSP.

SAS - Thanks! I'll be posting more soon... so stay tuned!

kate s - Thats what I get for processing late at night and flattening images, I had to rework the image just to mask out the texture on her back. Thanks for the comments! I'm definitely still learning how to shoot weddings, so thanks for the encouragement.

katiebev - Thanks so much. I've actually been following your work for a bit (I have your blog subscribed on google reader), so that means a lot!

dragonfly - Thankyou!

Tara - Thanks! the 2nd one is actually my favorite of the bunch as well.

I reworked #2 to mask out the texture, much better eh?

You did absolutely great! Nice PP and I really like #1.

Andrew,

image #3 is too static and their expressions aren't great.

i'd suggest trying to catch your couple in stride while they're walking.

the other ones are really nice, especially #1.

George - Thanks for your comments!

bill - Thanks for the critique. I agree it is visibly static, it was actually a posed shot of the main photographer.

I've added some more shots from editing...
