I had the blessed opportunity to go back to Chetek, WI on 6/28.
The bride below LOVED what I did for her friend's wedding, and wanted to head to the same river after her short reception.

Of course, I happily obliged and we had a lot of fun.
This is, so far, my favorite image.

Thoughts?

CC please.

Fantastic! I love the mood this evokes.

I love the line of her dress, but the bright spot in the bottom left draws my eye too much. Maybe you could try burning it in some. If it was more or less the same tonality as the line of dress that's underwater it would make a perfect leading line.

And the obvious question: Were you in the water for this shot?
Amber Martin
beautiful. I love the processing and how the dress draws your eye to her. Thanks for sharing!
Johnny
Thanks Amber & Aaron...

Aaron - Yes, I was in the water with her. It felt so good to be in there after shooting all day. thumbsup.gif

I agree about the dress portion being a bit bright, I also see a few other things I don't like in this image but want to see if any other OSP'ers can point out the flaws.

It's beautiful Johnny!

I actually like the variation of brightness in the dress, to me it mimics the flow of the river, but I am a crazy cat like that. The image looks beautiful to me Johnny.

Ahhh, Wisconsin is a beautiful place biggrin.gif
Johnny
Thank you Jennifer and Amy!

Amy - Wisconsin is beautiful.
I just don't like all that cheese and beer...
KaylaS
I like it, & don't mind the brighter spot.

Do you have any where she is more off in the distance, so it is more scenic?

WI is beautiful, but MN is more smile.gif!

Sorry Kayla I don't (which is odd for me...).
The water was very high and while the current wasn't that strong I wanted to stay close to her - just in case.

Amy - funny you should mention cheese fudge.
I told my wife and kids that if we ever got a dog that we would name it Cheese Fudge. Don't ask my why... it just popped into my head one day.

Very cool and I love how you are drawn into to the bride smile.gif great shot!

Great shot Johnny!

As for CC, the photo looks like the left side is lower than the right. I'd adjust that and then use the first kink in the trane(?) (from the bottom up) and crop there. It's really just personal preference, there's absolutely nothing wrong with what you have, it's fantastic.

Niiiiiiiicce to see you back posting Bro!
Hope all is well!
Johnny
Matt - Thank you.

Bryce - Thanks. There was a lot of tilt in the original, I attempted to straighten in out but it appears as if there is some left tilt remaining.

Frank - All is busy ... we have #7 on the way... yes, we are crazy.
I'm contemplating the possibility of bowing out of weddings, or at least majorly cutting down so I can focus on some other things.
I posted about it a couple days ago.

Other than that things have been normal. How about you?
I had taken a 3 month break after my 'snit' and didn't see you around here when I jumped back on. I would assume you are very busy right now.

Glad to see you on the forum again... thumbsup.gif
