Full Version: Really Hard Lighting, fixing in PP

I had a hugely hard ceremony the other weekend and im doing the editing/PP in lightroom at the moemnt. It was an 11am ceremony, full sunlight, harsh shadows, bride in full sun, groom in full shade....yadda yadda yadda....

This is SOOC. I did have my flash going to try and fill in the shaddow...

I dont know if i could have done anything different.... Im going to do a bit more PP in photoshop as its now a tad flat, but if anyone has any suggestions im all ears!

dont have any answers for you but I think I like it better before. The after is mighty flat.

+1. you don't have much contrast there. i know that's not much help.... hope someone can help you! smile.gif

Quick stab at it... just used TRA Good vs. Evil to dodge and burn. This took me about 30 seconds, so obviously would need a little more refinement.

Edit to add: you could also create a copy in LR and do one properly exposed for the highlights, one for the shadows and combine the exposures in PS.
