I just finished getting some shots for a friend with her 4 week old baby girl. We were taking a lot of indoor shots using natural light. The images in the camera were looking great. WB seemed good (shooting jpeg). exposure good. when i started to download the images i noticed they were way off. they look nothing like they do in the camera. extra contrast and richness in color. WB way off. they are going to need a lot of work. (don't worry...this was a freebie and can be reshot easily.)

there were brown sheers over the windows and i know now that's probably the problem. but...the images were looking great in the camera so i thought all was fine.

shooting w/ a 5D w/ 85 1.8

f/3.5
1/15
ISO around 400-640
WB auto
shot in manual
color space in camera- sRGB

here is the only image i downloaded and worked on it very briefly.

I'm still getting used to my 5D and still have so much to learn. I'm sure there's more information I need to provide to help out so just let me know.

it seems as though i'm running into this problem lately with indoor shots. and i'll check my images in the camera and they seem great and then i'm so bummed when i go to download them.

Thanks everyone!
