I don't know about y'all, but I've always been a little scared to use Hotwire, since I didn't know exactly which hotel I'd be staying at. But today I used them to search for deals for an upcoming trip to DC. I got a four star hotel near the White House with all the amenities I wanted for $112 a night. I was able to figure out which hotel it was by clicking over to www.betterbidding.com. This forum lets you look at posts by others who use Hotwire or Priceline. The information I got there let me figure out that the hotel I was being quoted was the Grand Hyatt.....so I booked it. At a savings of $97 a night! Whoo-hoo!

Just thought I'd pass it on since so many of us travel. If you already know about BetterBidding, sorry. But hopefully this will be helpful to those of you who don't !
