Yah I have a 30d, and I thought about getting another one. But I figured if I just saved some more I could upgrade because I can deal with my lenses for now even though I need some L ones, I can live.

Mind if I borrow it sometime? I have a wedding coming up...

You are going to love it, Heather! I went from the Rebel to the 5D and could not believe the difference!

I can already tell it handles low ISO so much better, just from taking a picture with natural light indoors and it not being an icky shade of yellow or orange but true color. I can't wait to actually try it out on people!! haha!!
The only thing I hate is my Sigma 17-70mm lens doesn't work on it Oh well, guess that means I gotta start saving again.

Do any of you guys have the 24-70mm L or 16-35mm...which is better?

Sweeeeeet. I just upgrade to a 40D myself so I have the new camera joy as well! Mmm nothing like that sweet new camera smell.. Haha.
