Michelle - I suggest you contact Ross at Flosites and have him speak with you about Logos. Flosites does some really nice work, and their prices are very reasonable. Honestly, if you're going to have a logo it needs to be professionally designed. No reason to mess with it yourself when you have no experience with design or the software used in the process.

i totally agree with sofaboy - what you have is simply a somewhat fancy font with your name - its really not a logo. i suggest you either contact ross, or start a thread asking others for their input as to a designer. i know ginger just used logosauce.
it took me a long time ( 4 tries), unnecessary money wasted before i finally found someone who understood what i was looking for - dont just select someone for their price range, because you definitely get what you pay for. i could show you my 4 previous logos, each one costing more than the next, but none of them truly reflected my style.
