littler chicken
I feel kind of silly being so excited about this and sharing with y'all on this board, but some of my pictures have just been featured in the quarterly newsletter of an international missions organization. I blogged about it here, but here's the skinny:

I flew up to Memphis last Labor Day to shoot a few family sessions and events on behalf of Habitat for Hope, a ministry that serves, supports, and cares for families dealing with childhood cancer (Memphis is where St. Jude Children's Hospital is). They are working under NMSI and that is who put out the newsletter.

So it's not as exciting as Rangefinder or any of the other gigs y'all have going on, but it's exciting for me, and, I think, for HFH. This ministry really rocks. Interesting fact: did you know that on an average night in Memphis, there are 350 families in town seeking treatment for their children? They come from every state as well as many countries. That's a lot of displaced families, and they stay in Memphis for weeks or months at a time while their children are being treated.
