Full Version: TriCoast New Senior Mailer

Mike Fulton (TriCoast)
Here is part of our new senior mailer. We have actually developed two versions of this album. One (Shown below) is the smaller version which we will be using as our last mail out this fall of 5 to our senior marketing area.

The other version has the same pages mixed in with several others to make a total of 24 pages (including front and back cover) which we have printed out through Miller's Lab Print Press in 8x8" softcover album and handed out to the business' in our senior marketing area to display. These business' are the type which deal with seniors or other aspects which can help us gain clients (ie: tux rentals, prom dress stores, flower shops, etc)

So give me feedback, both good and bad, truly it is the best way to grow, expand and learn in this amazing art form we all love!

A special thanks to Jen Hillenga of Momento Images for her amazing template designs as well as SPA (Senior Portrait Artists).

Both business' listed above have amazing artists behind them and this senior mail out simply could not have been done without them! Thank you both for the amazing inspirations you have given me as a fellow artist as well as the friends you are to TriCoast!

WOW, awesome mailers!!!!

very cool. I am so lazy with mailers and advertising, but I can't complain, word of mouth has been good to me. I should put something cool together though, thanks for sharing!

I like the idea of doing a book - I did something like that a few years ago for brides and it worked great.
What I don't like is the design looks inconsistent if it were in book form. Each spread is like its own mailer...
Seems as if you are appealing to a broad market instead of just targeting a specific type of senior client.

But I'm sure it will do fine for you guys, you have the name recognition to back you up.

I love the designs, but it seems odd to have each set of pages so dramatically different. The content is great as well!

I agree that it looks like a bunch of different designs - not one cohesive book. Pages 02-03 and 04-05 are the most different. 02-03 because the photos don't have the same borders as the rest of the pages (and they're all straight up and down with no tilting) and 04-05 because of the color scheme (and non-bordered pics).

Seniors probably won't care, though ... just a bunch of nit-picky photographers smile.gif

XOXO, Sarah Q
