I did a shoot for a neighbor's 6 month old daughter, who is about one quarter Navajo Indian. She's adorable and when I saw this shot of her wearing her mom's baptismal outfit, I knew I needed to play with the processing for an extra special effect! I think it looks just like a photo I would find buried in an old leather album from a century ago in my grandma's attic or something. What do you think?

We also crossed the street into the Preserve to get some desert pics - these looks so incredibly authentic for this part Navajo Phoenician baby!

Very, very nice. I like the post work on the first one a lot.

And I LOVE the second one - just wish that little toesy wasn't cut off.

thanks! didn't even notice the toe!! smile.gif there are a few on my blog with all the little toesies but this one would have been perfect with the whole foot in. smile.gif I do believe this is the photo I fell over onto the desert floor covering myself with itchy, stickery little things that made me practically run home and jump in the shower. smile.gif What we will do to get a shot.

Ooooh - I love the ones in the red chair on your blog. So cute with those little fat legs all sprawled out. smile.gif

These are awesome!! The colors in the second are so gorgeous they would almost look like a Mark Rothko (sans baby!) But the baby just makes it that much better smile.gif
