I've been trying out Lulu for printing some baby custom proofbooks. They offer the most competitive price and printing on average takes 3-5 days, but look elsewhere if you require quick shipping. Even though they say that express shipping is available to Canada in their FAQ, it is NOT (well not exactly).

If you are printing just one book title, you can get express shipping starting at $96 for one copy of a softcover book!! That's three times more than what I pay for buying cameras and equipment from BH Photo! On top of that, if you add another book title, you can ONLY ship standard. And standard means Standard UPS Ground which means be careful of brokerage fees and long delivery times. My books usually took 15 days to get to Toronto.

I've had too many problems with Lulu and giving up on them. Their shipping and customer service dept doesn't have their act together to service Canadian customers properly yet. Maybe I'll give them another change in a year or two. Maybe I'll give Blurb a shot.
