I need a good matted album for a client. I usually only offer a flush mount album, but she really wants the matted album so I need some recommendations.

Check out the Leather Craftsmen 8500 series that has mat and flush mount pages. Incredible!!!!!

I'm a Jorgensen girl, through and through. The business that manage them in the UK are always first class for customer service, and they really try and help you out if you need it urgently. I once got mine within 10 days, hand made + all the way from Australia.

They have their own dedicated software for designing albums (JAD) which is so easy to work, plus their choice of cover materials is very good - vinyl, leather, chamois, metal, wood, acrylic etc. The quality is always top notch and brides love them.

I have seen Queensberry albums and they look very nice, but I just meshed with Jorgensen and think they're fantastic.

I'm a fan of the Ambiance album from Maxima. I usually order mine from Albums Inc, but the mats are really thin and modern, which I like. I also love their matt choices. One of my biggest issues with matted albums is that there just aren't a ton of options for the different wondow mats and they seem to have a ton of shapes and configurations.

If you have the budget, Queensberry are really beautiful, just pricey.

Hi Dana,

I am a sales rep for Leather Craftsmen and I noticed your post. I would love to help you with this album. We have been making matted albums for 40+ years, so there is a little bit of history there. I want to keep this short, but please do not hesitate to contact me if you want more information on Leather Craftsmen products. My email is cis@leathercraftsmen.com. Have a great night.

I examined the Leather Craftsmen 700 series matted album that was on display at WPPI, and was so impressed that I have changed my packages to include it as one of only two options. It defines my style very well, and the artistic presentation I desire to provide my clients.

Definitely worth a look, and more "upscale" to me than others I have seen.

We love our Queensberry matted albums - lots of colour choices for matte ans I particularly like the pagemount system they offer - very unique!

I haven't really seen any other albums...
