These are local landscapes I took over the weekend. Took the advice of many of you and tried the HDR method. I'm very pleased with the outcome.

These are taken in and around the Emerald/Victoria - Australia area. I've been looking for some "grand" captures of our local area and can't find any like this, so I think I've cornered a market - can't wait to open the gallery.

The one below I like, but not happy with the way I processed the HDR, so I'm going to have another go...

Wow, you guys responded in record time! Thanks for all your comments.
Here is the improved Paternoster Road one (I think it's improved anyway)

I am using Photomatix Pro, Photoshop and Lightroom - bit of a combination depending on the look I am going for.

Wowsers! Those are awesome!

(I like the tree in the first Patemoster Road one... the 2nd one feels kind of disjointed with only a few limbs showing).

I'm in love with #1, the rustic randomness of the truck is so inviting! Makes me want to sit near it and marvel at the surroundings thumbsup.gif

Would definitiely be interested in purchasing a print or two Karen (especially if they are made into cards)....they are magnificent. You really do have a knack for capturing landscapes.
I hope you get out more to add more to your collection!
