Full Version: sync-ing two cameras
OpenSourcePhoto > Digital Photography > Misc. Photo Question

I am probably the worst person in the world at remembering to sync my camera and the camera of the person that is second shooting with me. It drives me crazy. I always think of it near the end of the night or as I'm post processing and kicking myself for forgetting yet again to sync our cameras.

I've heard that there is a way to sync images on time between two cameras (nikon and canon) after you've shot the images. Anyone heard of that? Have tips for me? A way to solve this issue (besides remembering to do it ahead of time)...since I just did it again today...

it's true.

Thanks!

Thanks, Matt. I don't have lightroom and just looked through cs2 bridge and couldn't find a way to do it there. Am I missing something?

you're missing lightroom. get it. you're wasting tons of time with bridge....

I believe Photo Mechanic can do it.

I also found EXIF Farm, but have never used it.

Either way, you're going to have to pick up some software or do a free trial, if available.

Do you have any friends with Lightroom? You could just drop in with your drive and take care of this in a short time. That would probably be best in this case so you can skip the Lightroom learning curve. It's not unbearable, but it takes some getting used to.

Do you have iView Media Pro? I think that is what Adam has used the couple times he forgot to sync our cameras.

So does this mean that I can't do it in cs2? anyone? I've already used up my lightroom trial...
