Hey, quick question for everyone. I've been considering purchasing the OnOne Plug-in 4. Anyone use this, recommend, not recommend? : ) I'm already incorporating TRA and some Kubota actions... just don't know if this would help me in my quest to be happier with my image results.

Thanks for any feedback.

Try the demo out. I did and I like the plug-in idea a lot better then running individual actions but I haven't purchased it... yet. I think the value of suite with all the programs is much better overall then just the PhotoTools plug-in alone due to the flexibility you get through the multiple plug-ins. PhotoTools itself seemed to have a lot of the "actions" I would want from Kubota and a few extras too but I don't see it replacing my favorite actions and I think I'll purchase TRA actions before I pay for the OneOne suite.

PIS4 id good. I'll be doing a review on an upcoming Pro Photo SHow. I really like it for the utility tools like Genuine Fractals, and Mask pro. Photo Frame is also really good. One one is one of my favorite plugin devs, and I see a lot of them.

The photo effects are good, but I usually use actions far more. The thing is that with these effects plugins you have to open an image in the plugin console, and then run your effects. With actions their right their in the action panel (I use button mode) and you just click.

Actions are faster in the end, but having effects plugins is a nice add on to give you more variety. All that said, the suite is great to have, and will give you some great resources.

Stay to to the next episodes of Pro Photo Show for some more details.
