can anyone recomend a good Wedding "how to" book? I have shot a few friends weddings and I would love to do it professionaly, but I feel I have still a lot to learn. Is there a good book or/and video out there that will help a newbie?
Thank you all,
Steve
p.s. this web site is awsome and very informative way to go DJ

Find an established shooter and volunteer to carry bags or other grunt work for them. There is no book or video that can prepare you to shoot weddings. Do it for free, leave your camera at home unless they ask you to bring it, and pay attention. Do this 4 or 5 times, then start second shooting for a year or so. In other trades this is called an apprenticeship, and it works well here too. Education costs money or time, or both, as it should.

Thanks Mark for your input, but I just want to learn a little more so I know what to look for when I do something like that, just so I can learn to "know what to look for" type of thing....thanks

Videos that follow photographers at weddings are invaluable and the best book out there is Marcus Bell's Master's guide to wedding photography.
