Full Version: Watermarks and Photo order
OpenSourcePhoto > GetIt > Showit Web

I've used programs for slideshows in the past that allow watermarks to be added through the program, and they automatically center themselves. Is there any way to do so with show it web? If not it'd be an awesome new addition, since I don't want to manually enter them in each photo and have them zoom in/out along with the picture.

I'm also having issues when I chose the files of pictures to upload, no matter what I do they never come out in the order I want to. I've tried manually renaming them 1-50, or renaming them as a group so it starts at #_1, then #_2, and I've tried sorting them by date taken/exif data/date modified. They still come out in RANDOM order.

Can anyone help in either of these areas?

Hi!
Not that it's not a good idea, but I'd say the majority of folk 'round here aren't using a "branded" or watermarked version of their images in their SIW slideshows. Without the current option in SIW, you're best bet is to handle it in an action via PS.

As far as upload goes, I've found that if I do a batch rename in Bridge using "xxx..-001, -002, etc., my images will go in the intended order. Typically I do a presort based on capture time, then rename.

Hope that helps a bit. Have a great 4th!

I've been used to using a watermark because my slideshows and galleries were at least 900 px wide. Pretty easy for anyone to do a screen cap (wich I've found one family do) but I've resized my shows to less than 700 px and that makes the world of a difference! So no more watermarks biggrin.gif

I used a batch converter to rename my files, and I made them to be xxx-001 and that worked!!! Thanks for that biggrin.gif So happy that they came out in order, I would have kept on struggling to yeah that helped A LOT!

- Thanks again - Andie
