Are there any border action sets that you just love?? I have looked into Show-It Borders and a couple of other sets but I am not completely sold on any of them yet...

Nichole V has some really cool ones...urban, retro, vintage-not sure if it's what you mean, though...

I've been working on something and I'm real close to releasing it, but they are NOT actions. They are layered PSD Files. Layered because I'm giving people 4-6 frames in one. Like this one, this is the "standard" look, but there is a grunge look, vintage, etc. and you can remove the tape, move the tape, etc because each part of the picture is it's own layer. I wanted to be as flexible as possible.

I also went out and shot hundreds of different backgrounds and textures to be used for backgrounds and or overlays on the images themselves. I'm at the process right now where I'm finishing a few things and making sure my online purchase software works right (would love to give them away, but I've spent up to 60 hours PER frame working on these things!, not to mention the time invested in the backgrounds!)

Here is a sample of one....

Actions that do border are cool, but more limited. If you want to get really border intense get a program like Photo Frame Pro. It's a great program from OnOne Software, and it is a plugin console for adding infinite borders.

There's probably a few thousand borders, but they can all be combines, or tweaked for literally millions of combination's.

Actions are great for a quick and simple border. If your wanting a full collection of fine art border you need something like Photo Frame.

OK, I just downloaded the demo... and ewwwwwwwwwwwww. I mean... EWWWWWWWWWWWW. Sorry, but those are some damn ugly ass frames. If I was livin in the 70's it might be cool, all the faux gold and all.. but hell no would that go in front of my clients. HELL NO.

Much better with MANY more options and choices is AutoFX PhotoGraphic Edges 6. It is far superior IMHO because not only does it have the set frames, like OnOne, but also brushes and settings to allow you to create your own. There is no comparison there..
