I shot my first wedding 13 days ago (I know, I know, nothing new around here...) EXCEPT, I had two amazzzzzing photographers helping us along the way. I don't shoot weddings but I had the cutest little girl ask me last year and I couldn't say no. So as I was shaking in my boots and looking at my pretty empty equipment bag, Bobbi stepped in to help us. (Yes, I TOTALLY realize how freakin lucky we are.)

My only punishment is I now have 5,300 images to go through but it's alllllllllllll good. I'm learning so much as I go. Soooooo, miss Bobbi wrote a KILLLER blog post complete with action shots. Check it!!!

I posted some action shots on my blog as well. Thanks for letting me share how totally awesome Bobbi + Mike are. They could keep their time, talent and for that matter, their freakin insane arsenal of gear locked up for their own use but nope, in the spirit of paying it forward they shared it all with us, another husband and wife team trying to make it in this world as well. Bobbi + Mike, you rock!!!

PS I was the one asking for what to wear to a wedding if anyone recalls. I just went with all black. Didn't buy a suit because I don't know if I'll be doing any more weddings. I did go a little risky and went for sleeveless, but I had flutter sleeves so I wasn't totally sleeveless. I wore the ugliest shoes known to mankind too. Oh well. I will say that shootsac was one that I won from a Jessica Claire blog contest. I tell you what, luck has played a big role in my journey has a photographer!

Oh and on top of evvvverything else. Bobbi designed my logo for me in like two minutes at 2 AM for me. Though I change the color in it about every 2 days.

Looks like a ton of fun, Betsy It is so great to have photographer friends, isn't it?

Oh yea! Fun and in my case, it's been a big part of my success!!! I've really been checking out a lot of blogs and commenting more often and yes, it feels REALLY good to really network so much more here on OSP. It's amazing how many great people are out there. I truly hope I can give back once I'm not taking so much!!!

OK, So why has no one cool adopted me yet??? Is there a list? Did I miss the list, man I miss all good stuff!

I commented on their blog right before coming here, how funny! Ive never met them but I can so tell that they pretty much ROCK. They look like such lovable people! You are so lucky, wish I could fly them down here for my first solo wedding next month...

What CAN'T Bobbi do? Sheesh... because I [heart] your logo (and think it's cool if you have a revolving color; perhaps you could change it everytime to coordinate with your session - like match a shirt, or wedding colors, or eyes, etc.).

First of all, ALL of my shoes are the ugliest shoes ever. I have hobbit feet.

Secondly, Bobbi and I considered changing the logo every session (or photo) and we decided it took too much time. But it does look cool when the colors match the photo. I just need more time in the day.......

BTW, if you didn't see on my blog, I literally met Bobbi at a wedding she was shooting.

I am venturing in to weddings, and MAN I'd kill for a bobbi+mike! LOL

5300 Images? Holy cow. I guess that's what you get with three photographers at a wedding! I only shoot about 1600 a wedding!

I recently have been talking to the couple that photographed my wedding 10 years ago, I sooo want to hook up with them and do this, I think I am going to push for this to happen after seeing how much fun you guys had.
