Hey there folks, we are selling our two back-up 1DMKII's.

Both come with everything that came in the boxes, including discs, cables, chargers, etc. Each body comes with 1 Canon battery, and 1 third party battery. Each unit is in used, but awesome condition, they of course have the standard rub marks on the hot shoe. The units were never abused, never dropped, wet, or miss treated.

Both units just had their shutters replaced - done late this spring, and have maybe had 700 clicks on the shutter since then. One of the cameras is missing the rubber eye cup, which of course can be purchased from BH for about $14.

I will post pictures of the two cameras tomorrow.

Price - $2000 shipped/per camera + 3% for paypal (-$15 for the unit with the missing eye cup)

*EDIT* Please PM if interested.

OK,this is prob a dumb question, and shows that I'm just lazy....

we shoot with 5D's and I'm really unfamiliar with the 1D series. Would you recommend this camera for weddings, and if so, why? what is the difference in the 1D series - what did they improve along the way, and where does this fit into the 1D series.

right now if I was going to invest in a new camera I'd be inclined to get one of the new 5D, especially as I've been so happy with the ones we have but the 1D's have intrigued me and I just don't know enough about them.

Hey there Mark, the beauty part of the 1D series is the build of the body, the incredible frame rate, and the weather sealing. We still give clients photos from the cameras, in terms of megapixels, it is more then enough as a back up body. We have used them for billboard shoots, and the quality is still incredible. Another nice part is for the price of one of the new 5D's you could have two back up cameras.

Here are some photos of the two cameras, not the best shots just really quick this morning. The first three are the body with the eye cup, and the final four are the body missing the eye cup
