So I am trying out the Lightroom 2.0 Beta and really loving it so far but I have one question: in bridge we used the star rating system to mark images for specific batches of photoshop actions (1 Star is B&W High Contrast, 2 stars is lens vignette, etc...) Is it possible to do this in Lightroom. I know I could make presets for some of the things I do in photoshop but I do not think I can duplicate all the actions I have in photoshop in Lightroom.

I have not been able to find a batch option yet. It would not be a big deal as I think I can duplicate most of the actions in lightroom but I do not think I can duplicate 2 of them so I will have to do some bridge batches after the fact.

Just wondering if I am missing anything or if you have any suggestions.

Thanks,

Absolutely you can, and probably using several different methods. I have presets created to do different things. (I don't use your particular method though) so what I would probably do is to select all of a specific rating and simply apply whichever preset you want. I also create black and white versions, so create sometime several virtual copies with different looks to them. As I mentioned, there's probably a ton of different ways to make that work and much much quick than Bridge IMHO
