I'm still in Marina Del Rey after the wedding. It's been an incredible weekend! I can't even begin to describe the gift that
Jasmine Star and
Crystal Goss gave me this weekend. They came out

and helped me shoot one of my friends wedding and it was beyond wonderful having them there. I didn't have to worry about a thing and it allowed me to really enjoy being there!
I've been looking through their shots and am just blown away. These girls are phenomenal photographers and everyone just fell in love with them at the wedding!
I can't wait to see more of the pics they shot but here are a few that I took. Jas and Crystal wouldn't let me hang out with them so I went and found the guys and I like this shot.

Dig that high key image. I've been playing with that too and love it. Great job!

Love them! Hope you are relaxing some!
You probably already heard this but if not I wanted to make sure you had! In the May issue of PDN, OSP was listed as number 45 on the "46 reasons to LOVE Photography Now." Its a cool article as follows:
Wedding Photographer Forums
Go ahead. Look down your nose at wedding photographers if you must, but they are a congenial lot with a think or two to teach the rest of the photo industry about the benefits of strong community. Wedding photo forums such as Open Source Photo(the name says it all) and DWF are full of photographers helping photographers with tips, tutorials, critiques and general shop talk intended to raise all boats. The undercurrents of competitive reserve and grouchiness present on other types of pro photography forums are conspicuously absent here, perhaps because the field isn't as cutthroat as, say, photojournalism, and because wedding photography tends to attract sunny extroverts. To be sure, the mutual congratulation on the wedding forums is a bit saccharine and overbearing at times, but the motives are genuine and the forums have substance. "As wedding photographers, we feel that, hey, if you put it out there, more is going to come back to you. It seems to be a sharing environment," says photographer Jason Sandifer. "People are establishing themselves as leaders in our community by giving good advice."
Congrats OSP and congrats DJ, you rock!!
