I just came across this article Official Google Webmaster Blog and many (most) people here use Flash for their websites. I know it has long been a limitation of Google to index the text of Flash websites but they have now updated their algorithms to do exactly that. The article also has tips on how to improve your Flash sites for better indexing.

Thanks for sharing the news! I've avoided having a Flash website for that exact reason. But now it looks like it shouldn't be a problem.
