So, we decided to try something different with our new business. (mostly to help others get to know us a bit) We concluded that doing some little videos might be helpful. Unlike DJ and Swan I don't have great assets, BUT I did include the cutest little girl in the world, my daughter.

As we began to do the video we wanted it to be mostly impromptu, my daughter thought she would have fun too. What was meant to be quick, turned into several takes. Emily decided her fingers worked great up her nose and mine, pulled my shirt down (exposing a lil sompin sompin), among other things...that my husband and other daughter were more then happy to giggle through. I have a knew found respect for those who do videography of children, it is not my thing! Finally, I ended up getting so flustered that I kept forgetting what I was going to say, THEN Emily would say "remember, talk about photography mama!" She was so cute it wasn't possible to get angry, but it was way more work then I had imagined. I had thought the hardest part was swallowing my pride and putting myself in front of the camera! ha!

Probably won't be the last time, Crystal Those sorts of things tend to happen in this business! Today in our baby sessions we had three poops, two spit-ups, and two wet spots on our backdrops. I kept thinking, "seven years of college, and this is what I do..." Wouldn't trade it for anything though!

I watched your video and your daughter is adorable. I'm sure other moms will really connect with you and your little girl and your camera

Thanks Matt, we sure think she is! I can totally understand what you mean though. I often wonder how I end up doing some of the things I am in life, but photography has been a huge blessing. Thanks Charlotte! I am glad you thought it was cute.
