Full Version: Wedding Abstraction

Each year I challenge myself with a couple of personal projects to help keep my eyes and brain thinking. Weddings are a blast but sometimes they can be a little slow and this is what keeps me going. One of my projects this year is abstraction.

I really like creating these types of images and my clients are digging them as well.

• The image below is a portrait of the groom. A strobe with a snoot was used to create this image.

• The below image was created with one White Lightning placed on the floor at 3/4 power. The shadows on the ceiling are the results of the harsh light casting the dancing shadows upward.

• This is a time exposure with a strobe hitting the groom and his groomsmen individually.

I know OSP has some cool images to share. Let's see em!

nice dude!

I like how the symmetry pulls you into the weirdness in the first one. And I love the Twin Peaks feel of the second.

A couple from me...

Keep it going, people. Let's see your really WEIRD and wonderful stuff!

Dude that third one makes me want to look at it over over again.

Wow, can I say that that dancing shadows one is one of my all time favorite images I've ever seen! It reminds me of that song "Once Upon a December" from that Disney movie Anastasia. So fanciful!

I love this kind of stuff.
