Im sorry if this question has been asked before and i have read some posts about workflows but i still need a little help. I currently have at my disposal, Canon dpp, adobe cs2/bridge/camera raw and lightroom. I normally download the images from my cards to my pc hard drive and then do the back up to dvd thing twice, then either in Canon dpp or Lightroom i import the images and cull the ones i dont want, Then adjust wb/exposure and export as jpegs. I then open cs2 and work on each image using actions etc then sharpen and any images that need it i run through noiseware, Make dvd slideshow and give to client to select images.
I have bought David Jays bridge and lightroom presets to try and speed up my workflow but i find i like to add special effects to images in cs2 so i feel that to keep the look the same i have to treat all images to similar effects.

Do you all have the same issues ? If not what i am doing wrong ?

Please help or advice me as i am really spending way too much time in front of my pc.
Ps i shoot raw, if that makes any difference.
Many thanks in advance
scott.

PROOFS!

Nail the exposure in the camera, and you won't have to go back and edit in front of the computer.

If you run actions on all images can you batch them? We have one action we run on every image we show clients and then other images we select with the star rating in bridge and then run batches for each star raking. We have found this saves us a TON of time. We we just have to fix any problem images but that is very rare that the actions need to be fixed. Management by exception has saved us a lot of time.

As foo said if you set up your actions properly with save commands you can easily batch them to automate the step.
