I am looking for some high quality and unique background tiles for my blog. I google it but only find the ones that are ugly. I have seen some nice ones in some of the blogs and I was wondering if any of you can share where to find them. They don't have to be free. If they are good and unique, I am willing to pay for them.

I went to a stock photo site and searched for "seamless tile backgrounds" (with modifiers like floral, vintage, etc.) and that seemed to work pretty well. Definitely way better options out there than the free ones, although that one that Jared (the prophoto blog guy) recommends had by far the best free ones I have seen. I forget the name but it's mentioned on his site and here on OSP. Something about a squid, maybe?

I bought 3 to play with; they came as 800x800 which is too big for a background gif, I think, but shrinking them to 200x200 when I save for web seems to do the trick.

Dreamstime had about a zillion. Give or take a few.
