I can't seem to get my batching resizing right for my pickpic images... (or for any batch resizing for that matter!)
does anyone have an action that keeps the horizontal and vertical images the same size? right now when I batch either all my horizontal are the size i want - and the vertical are much smaller, or vise versa.

I'm not in front of my PS computer right now, but do a search in the PS help for "Fit Image." That is what will allow you to set the horizontal and vertical images to the same dimensions on the longest side.
I have my Fit Image set to 800x800 so the longest side is 800 pixels no matter what the orientation is.
It might be under File>Automate>Fit Image or something like that.

can you run that from image processor in bridge do you know? or do you have to open all the files in PS and run it that way? or is it a one image a time thing??

Make an action in Photoshop called PickPic (or something like that) and simply do the Fit Image 800x800 command.
Then in Image Processor (which runs in PS but is accessed from Bridge) at the bottom of the window you have an area where you can select an action to run. Select your PickPic action and take a nap.
You can do a whole folder.

I do it that way too, and I got my instructions directly from those fabulous PickPic people! Walked me through every step. They're so wonderful!
