I looked at all the forums on OSP and this one (opportunities and giving ) seemed the most appropriate for what i am about to propose so here goes.
I am working on establishing a website called ColoursMag (coloursmag.com) sort of an online publication which focuses on displaying the culture, heritage, people and art of the various parts of the world.
The basic aim of the project is to present a varied representation of art and culture of various parts of the world as seen by the common person. To present to the world the images from day to day life in those areas, basically a candid representation of various cultures spread across the globe.
Hence to establish a place to display this sort of work i thought of establishing this publication where i could with the help of other photographers present to the world what a rich culture we have in this world and which may go unnoticed otherwise, and maybe bring a spark to our days in these dull times.
I have been a member of OSP for a good couple of years now and have contributed to and I have also seen some incredible work of other photographers displayed here and keeping that in mind i thought of posting my idea here.
I was wondering if any of you would be interested in taking part in this project?
I have already had participation from different photographers from Phillipines, Scotland, Iran, Pakistan, China. I hoping to eventually build a representation from every country thus displaying a wide variety of work representative of their respective rich art and cultural heritage.
To manage this project i have made a flickr group:

where you can join and submit photos which you would like to be submitted to the coloursmag for publication. Please read the submission guidelines before submitting any photos. In short the submission guidelines are as follows:
1. The photos should be yours.
2. They should not have borders or digitally added text around them or be multiples.
3. No over the top photoshopping or things like selective colouring etc ( you get the idea?).
What I would really like to see is your best photos, photos that tell a story, that make you stop and look and make you think there is something about this photo. Photo that should be appreciated by people who love art.
At the moment i am not in the position to offer any monetary compensation, even though i really want to as i feel that art should be valued and rewarded, unfortunately i don't have the funds to make such a gesture at the moment.
What i can assure is that any photos published will definately have the photo credit, along with your website link published along with it. Can you as a business professional, as a wedding photographer, afford to miss out on the opportunity to connect with photographic art lovers from around the world? (had to make the sales pitch
