Oooook. So. I've been working with a designer on a new logo. I posted a little while ago about one I was working on myself, however I decided to hand it over to a pro. We're in round 3 of the process and so far I haven't seen anything yet that's making me say "OMG I LOVE IT!" Is it supposed to work that way? Like when my butterfly was made for me I immediately knew I loved it but it hasn't happened with the full logo yet.

Anyway.....I kind of narrowed it down to 4 logos. I plopped them into screenshots of my site and splash page to help me visualize it better. One of them doesn't show as big as the others in the pre-designated space on my blu template but the rest fit fine. Not sure if it bothers me or not. Hmmm....

Any thoughts are appreciated on these logos. Vote for your favorite, if you have any ideas on where I should/could move from here, that's cool too. Are they good logos? Do they fit my style? SHOULD they fit my shooting style? The scripty ones feel really art deco to me, which I like but my photography isn't necessarily very art deco but does it matter?? I'm really kind of confused by this whole process LOL. Any help appreciated!!

#3 get my vote. You're got a good hierarchy established with it. Your name in the bold orange font grabs your attention. The word "photography" is played down a bit and in a contrasting color so it doesn't get lost. And you've nice a nice element with the butterfly. It's clean, simple, and something you can grow with. My only suggestion would be to trying adding a space between your first and last name to see what that looks like. My second choice would be #2. The rounded box and script font in the other examples just feels forced.

#3 is my first choice and #2 would be my second choice.

2 or 3; the others seem like NO-G0s ~ i know very little but it's always fun to cast a vote

#3 if any of them. not sure I'm a big fan of the color combo.

Well thats reassuring! smile.gif

See, whats funny about #3 is that he originally used the butterfly to "dot the i" but I put the butterfly on the side like that.....didn't tell him that yet LOL.

Thanks for the replies guys! So I feel like we're back to the drawing board. ::shrug::

I think #2 is the cleanest and most appealing wink.gif

I like the Misty Dawn in #1 but the rest of #2 (I particularly like the spot - makes a great sticker for your packages, watermark on the web, reminds me of the simplicity of the Apple logo).

I would say NOT the double butterfly, because it could appeal less to your male clients.

I agree with most of the others... #2 -- it's just clean and fresher than the others.

I really like the butterfly- very simple and cool- I would go with three and then maybe two

At first glance I like #2 the best!

I like the simplicity.
